Two and a half years ago quarterback, Justin Fields, decommitted from Penn State then defeated them last season to clench the Big Ten East title as a rival Buckeye. Although there’s mutual respect, Head Coach James Franklin shared how bothersome it is to have to face a lost recruit of Field’s caliber, “It’s magnified when you lose someone, they go to somewhere else in the conference, and now you have to compete against that guy for three or four years. It’s in your face, it’s more obvious.”
