The Buckeyes take “a step forward” after defeating Tulsa 41-20 at Ohio Stadium. “It’s going to be a building process here coming off of last week and this season” Day told Big Ten Network reporter, Stephanie Otey. “I think we took some steps in the right direction, still a lot of things to work on and get better at but definitely a step in the right direction.”
“The challenge was we need to run the football and play better run defense, for the most part we did that today. Still a lot of things to clean up and lots to get film on next week.”
Day shared accolades after win over Tulsa saying Cameron Martinez showed up a lot, thought Tyleik Williams’ big sack was great and the offensive line blocked better for TreVeyon Henderson to have some big runs and Master Teague ran hard.
