Bucks close up the series after Sunday night’s 20 point win over the Suns bringing it to Phoenix 2, Milwaukee 1 heading into Game 4 tonight at Fiserv Forum. Two-Time MVP, Giannis Antetkumpo, has been unstoppable becoming the second second player to have back to back 40 point, 10 board games in the NBA Finals. Only other player to do so…Shaq! Will the Suns be able to stop in?
My Game 4 Best Bets:
1. Bucks are favored -4.5 to win Game (-112)
The Bucks were favored by 4 in Game 3 and comfortably covered the spread. That margin has increased to 4.5 for the second contest in Milwaukee where the Bucks are just dominant, only losing once at Fiserv Forum this playoffs. When you look at games 1-2, it looked like Phoenix had control of the game but they had more time to rest after defeating the Clippers in Game 5 if the Western Conference Championship. The Bucks were a banged up after playing without their MVP. Giannis was a game time decision after overextending his knee and missing out on games 5 & 6 against the Hawks so we did not see his best yet. As the top defense and a supporting cast of Chris Middleton (18 pts) and Jrue Holiday (21 pts) stepping up they way they did in Game 3 tells me this is a safe bet.
2. Giannis U 34.5 points (-120)
It is hard to doubt the 2-Time MVP after his historical performance but I have to bet logically and simply look at the numbers. The Suns are going to be all over him. The “Greek Freak” has scored below 35 in 15 of his 18 playoff games this year, which is an 83% hit rate to the under here.
3. Deandre Ayton O 29.5 Points & Rebounds (-102)
Ayton nearly did this Sunday in Game 3 playing less than 25 minutes. He put up 18 points and 9 boards before running into foul trouble which cut his time short. Looking at his stat line, he’s averaging averaging 14.8 points and 10.8 rebounds so far this season so it is not much of a stretch.
